This page is to give a list of all available page templates which (most) pages within the wiki should be based off of when importing data. You can either manually recreate the page styling, use the page duplication function or when creating the page, select the appropriate template. The templates are broken in three seperate categories;
These templates are to give information on the lands within your setting. On the largest scales being a continent, going down to individual regions within a continent, the settlements within each region and then the landmarks spread all across the lands. Landmarks will most likely be your most used template as this can be used for anything from parts of the landscape like mountains or forests, to structures such as fortresses or shops. More info on each can be found on the template pages themselves.
These templates are to give information on various groups that inhabit your land on various scales. A faction is a group large enough to claim control over a given area of land such as a kingdom or empire. A religion is a group of beings that worship some form of higher being that may have verious beliefs and practises. A culture is a sub-set of people that can have their own beliefs independant of religion and which have their own social behaviors outside the norm. And finally, an organisation is a group that control some aspect of the goings on in an area such as craftsmen, merchants, guilds and the likes. The distinction between a faction and organisation is it's size. If a thieves guild for example grows large enough to control the town they inhabit and begin effecting things outside of it, rather than just the building they once occupied, you could consider them to be a faction as they are strong enough to fight whatever other faction may be operating in that same location. These templates for the most specific of all as they are to give details on the most particular aspects, individual beings and events. The individuals template can be used to give detail to anyone including shop owners, kings, gods and even the adventurers that roam the lands. The event template will be one of the most used way to link any two entities as this is how you can detail who did what, where and when. For larger scale events such as wars, this can include lists of the individual events that happened within them. More info on each can be found on the template pages themselves.
